The new addition to the family…We got a new light for the entrance! No it’s not an original Poul Henningsen, it’s a 70s knock off that we bought from Atomic on Queen St. Based on the model:

PH  “Kuglelamel” (1958)

Although it’s a knock off it does have an amazing quality to it, and gives off a beautiful light in the evening.

Who has $2200 + dollars for a light anyway?

The Before:

Old ugly drapes, tired sisal door mat, white detailing in the window were removed, and a classic hurricane lamp that was too small was replaced with a larger more interesting fixture.

Finally a long neglected but essential space in our home actually feels and looks welcoming.
